The International Swimming League also arrives in Italy, the competition in which 4 European and 4 American teams compete against each other. The first edition of ISL will see the best international swimmers compete in the pool over short distances (from 50 to 400 meters), and the four best teams (two from each continent) competing for the title in the final in Las Vegas (20-21 December).
The swimming Gods will be in Naples for the Italian stage on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 October in the lanes of Piscina Scandone. Four of the eight teams will compete for the occasion: Aqua Centurions, Cali Condors, Energy Standard and DC Trident. In the Italian team Aqua Centurions, captained by Federica Pellegrini, there will be Martina Carraro, Luca Dotto, Elena Di Liddo, Margherita Panziera and Fabio Scozzoli. There will also be outstanding athletes from the rest of the world: for example, the American phenomenon Caeleb Dressel (freestyle and breaststroke - Cali Condors), to the South African champion Chad Le Clos (breaststroke - Energy Standard), up to the American champion Katie Ledecky (freestyle - DC Trident).
